I am a self taught keyboardist, singer & song writer. I've loved singing and making music since I was a kid, I just lacked the confidence to do it with or in front of others. Making music has been the single most means of healing I've had. It is utter presence, it is being open, it is succumbing to a greater force that exists just beyond the rational, logical mind. It is God to me. The spirits of all our loved ones reside in this space. It is timeless timelessness.
I made my first album using a Casio keyboard, finding various rhythms, tempos and beats that I could put lyrics to. It was a great way to begin exploring.
My second album "In Change", I play the keyboard (Which I taught myself over the past 4 years). I then collaborated with Angela Schweiberger, who added guitar, harmonium and back up vocals throughout the album. Jesse Dermody provided his spectacular beats and rhythms, Jill Burkes beautifully added her violin magic on several songs and Rich Mattson gifted us with his catchy bass guitar riffs, not to mention recording the whole album at his studio called Sparta Sound. At live shows Ryan Childs is on bass guitar and the synth.
